
SAIC invests further in Modeling and Simulation Curriculum Development
In continued support of the Dayton Regional STEM Centers ground breaking effort to create an introductory elective Modeling and Simulation High School course, SAIC has donated an additional $20,000 to aid in the creation and implementation of the course. The continued partnership with SAIC and DRSC is evidence of SAIC's investment in fostering career interest and necessary skills for our future workforce. The advisory support that has been provided by multiple members of SAIC's staff demonstrates this corporation’s investment in not only our children but also Dayton, Ohio, workforce capabilities and needs. The continued relationship of these organizations is a testament to the value of industry and educational collaboration.
The students and teachers are the real winners of SAIC generous support, as the Dayton Regional STEM Center is preparing to host training for approximately 9 school districts poised to pilot the semester long Modeling and Simulation curriculum during the 2012-2013 school year.
