About The Dayton Regional STEM Center
The Dayton Regional STEM Center (DRSC) was established in 2007 and coordinates an established network of regional institutions and professionals that provides rich opportunities for STEM education by training and supporting educators, designing curriculum aligned to the workforce needs, training school leaders at the district and building level, and supporting schools and program models committed to STEM teaching and learning.
The DRSC has created a STEM Fellows Model which has brought together 500+ of the best and the brightest professionals in the region—a mix of preschool through high school teachers, higher education faculty and researchers, and practicing STEM industry professionals—to work in teams to align academic standards, curricula and assessments with the expectations of college and work in key regional economic clusters.
Review our STEM lessons. They focus on Energy, Power, and Propulsion; Sensors; Advanced Manufacturing and Materials; Medicine/Human Performance; Air Systems; Agricultural Engineering; and Environmental Engineering. Each lesson is differentiated to meet the needs of all learners including gifted students and students with disabilities.
DRSC curriculum is meant to foster a deep understanding of academic standards as
students work in a collaborative inquiry setting that fosters a rich understanding of STEM practices and career fields through interdisciplinary problem based experiences.

STEM EXCELLENCE AWARDS
The Dayton Regional STEM Center has established the STEM Excellence Awards to recognize leadership, service, and collaboration in the field of STEM Education.
The awards will honor the work of individuals and teams who have made distinctive contributions to the field of STEM Education.
